Relating with your Partner Top 11 Conversation Prompts

Relating with your Partner Top 11 Conversation Prompts are exercises in relating and supporting partners during trying times. Post Partum, job loss, and a Pandemic might be the perfect storm for those who are susceptible to unhealthy tendencies in relationships. So many families and couples are growing during the pandemic and there are a few things going on in relationships that are happening due to burdens placed on women in a traditional model of a “family.” I wanted to go over some tips for bringing your partnership back into balance and offering some tips or permission to ask for what you need from a partner after the arrival of a child.

Women are leaving the workforce in record numbers because childcare is an issue and women make less than men (a fact not opinion) in most instances. This can be stressful enough, let alone the blessing of another child. You are looking at an all-out assault on the modern identity of a woman. Where once were choices may feel suffocating. For partners, you need to check in on the mother or lead at home and make sure they are ok and feel supported, often.

On the other side of the coin is the stress that is suddenly on the bread winner in the household. Often, this decision is not clear clut and it is growing more and more common for dads to do more work. These conversation prompts and this post is not meant to be just supportive of women, it is truly to bring you closer and to get more joy back into partnerships, during a dumpster fire shit time.

Here are my favorite prompts
